Privacy Policy

Who we are

ClearPounds provides free UK salary and tax calculators. We are not affiliated with HMRC or any UK government body. This site does not provide financial or tax advice.

Data we collect

All calculator inputs are processed entirely in your browser. We do not store, transmit, or log any salary figures, tax details, or personal financial information you enter into our calculators.

We do not run our own analytics tools on this site. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type in order to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Email my results

The Email my results button opens your own email app with the estimate already written in. The message is sent from your email account, not from this site. We do not receive, store or process the email address you type or the estimate it contains.

Cookies

This site itself does not set cookies for tracking. Cookies may be set by the following services when they are active on the site:

• Google AdSense cookies, used to serve and measure advertisements
• Affiliate partner cookies, set when you click through to a partner site

Where required, we ask for your consent before these cookies are used. You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect how advertisements are displayed but will not affect the calculator functionality.

Google AdSense

We display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

Affiliate links

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click through and make a purchase or enquiry, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence our calculator results or editorial content.

Your rights

Because we do not collect personally identifiable information through our calculators, there is no personal data for us to provide, correct, or delete. For questions about data collected through Google AdSense, refer to Google's privacy controls.
